Iwonderif anyone can enlighten more on the migration of Saxenas from UP to Hyderabad and then to Wandiwash and Madras in the employ of Nawab of Arcot. Locality called Triplicane there are still existing streets named after saxena families namely Eswardas Lala (a Philanthrophist) Gajapathy Lala and Hanumanth Lala There is a reference to one Makhan Lal Saksena in History of Nawabs of Caranatic. He did caligraphic work on the Big Mosque at the behest of the Nawab in 1775. My father Bansi Lal used to say that our families came from Fyzabad in UP and that some relatives lived in Jhansi

We are KAMALPURIYA ORGINATE FROM patiali Jila ATA U.P. My grandfather Munshi Laxman Prasad Saxena, Vakil Saheb came to ujjain madhya bharat in early 1900-01 and settled in Ujjain. My father Sri Chandresh Prasad Saxena went to Dhar for school studies alongwith my Phoopha ji Sri Jagdamba Prasad saxena ,Inspector Of School at Dhar. During my father’s studies in Dhar he came to contact Sri Phadke saheb who is famous sculputure od Dhar. Sri Chandresh saxena passed elementary grade examination conducted by Sir J.J.School of Arts, Bombay and went to bombay in 1947-48 and took admission in Sir J.J.School of Art as regular student. His Brother Sri Narsingh Prasad Saxena, Postmaster tried to pay his routine fee but some time Sri Chandresh Saxena participate in Painting competitions and won the cash award and paid the fee. Specially in 1947 he won the BOMBAY ARTS SOCIETY PRESTIGIOUS CASH AWARD OF rS. 100/ . iN 1948 HE GOT GOVT. OF INDIA TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP of Rs.2500/ and visited mumbai, Banaras, Agra, Udaipur and painted the landscape and submitted the same to MHRD., Newdelhi. In 1949 he was the only artist of Madhya Bharata who selected for Teachers traing programme at Shantiniketan, West Bengal for One Year programme. In Shantiniketan he came in contact with KALA GURU ACHARYA NAND LAL BOSE. His teacher Vinayak Masouji took GURUDAKSHINA IN A MANNER THAT Sri Chandresh saxena his student given promise that he will die but never sell his paintings and till death 30 june 1987 he never sold a single painting for his personal use. Although he is not with us but his memories with his family still memorable. he has wifw Smt. Santosh SaxenaD/o. Sri Jyotiswaroop Saxena of Kanpur four son my self RAVICHANDRA SAXENA, REGISTRAR, IPS ACADEMY, INDORE(www.ipsacademy.org) married with Smt. VANDANA SAXENA D/o. Sri O.P.Verma of Jaipur and son AKSHAT SAXENA PASSED HIS B.E. from Sri G.S.Institute of technology & Science, Indore in the year 2008 with HONOURS AND AWARDWED K.G.SEKSARIA GOLD MEDAL FOR OVERALL TOPPER OF INSTITUTE AND ALUMNI GOLD MEDAL FOR IT BRANCH TOPPER. Presently doing M.Tech. Computer Science from IIT Bombay. (He secured 13 Rank in ALL INDIA GATE EXAM 2008 IN IT.) Second Son Sri Chhavichandra Saxena married with Smt Anjula Johari of Neemach, working in Ritspin Synthetics, Pithampur as Accounts Manager having two kids Ms.Prateeksha saxena doing B.E.(IT) and second Master Karan Saxena Just passed his 12th. Third Son Sri Pradeep saxena married with Smt seema saxena of Bhind working as officer in Malwa Nimar Rural Bank, Sehore having two kids Ms. Priya saxena doing B.E.(CS) and Ms. Chunmun just pased 10th class. Yongest son Sri Anoop Kumar saxena working as System In charge in Telephone Exchange, Indore married with Smt. Anuradha Saxena Of Kanpur and one kid Master Yash Saxena doing studies in 11th class. We have a proud that before the death of Sri Chandresh Saxena all four brothers are in service and doing well these days, and KAMALPURIYA TREE IS GOING AHEAD WITH THE GRESS OF GOD CHITRAGUPTJI.
