Saving the chart as an image

I have added a mechanism whereby you can save the chart as an image on your local hard disk. After entering all the details and generating the chart, you will see a "Generate Image" button. When you click on that button, a new browser window will open which will display the image of the chart. The image can then be saved by right clicking the mouse button and using option "Save Image As..." on the ensuing popup. This method works for both Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers.

To generate birth chart using this software, you need the date, time and place of birth.

The above picture is a part of the input screen. The date of birth should be entered in Date-Month-Year format. The year should be entered in 4-digit format, although the dasha output is be in two digits format. This has been done just to save some precious screen real estate.

Time zone indicates how much ahead or behind the place of birth is from GMT. e.g. India is 5 hours and 30 minutes ahead of GMT, therefore, it should be entered as 5 30 E.

Help for displaying Divisional Charts

The applet for generating birth charts calculates and displays Divisional Birth Charts. To choose the type of divisional birth chart, click on the following part of the output screen:

Once you click on the control which says: Divisional Chart you would get the following popup. Select the appropriate divisional chart you wish to display.
