INGREDIENTS:

cup refined wheat flour (maida)
1/2 cup yoghurt
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch soda bi-carbonate (baking
soda)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
2 tblsp oil for frying
METHOD:
1.Take flour add baking powder,baking
soda and salt. Mix well and pass it
through a sieve.
2.Mix sugar,yogurt .Add this to the
flour and add about a cup of water and
mix gradually to make soft dough by
light kneading.
3. Incorporate 2 tblsp oil into the
dough and keep it covered with wet
cloth for an hour.
4.Make 16 equal portions of the dough,
roll them into ballsCover and keep to
ferment for 10 minutes.
5. grease your palm with a little oil
and flaten the balls .Role it into
five inch diameter diskettes.
6.Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry
bhaturas on high flame till light
brown on both sides.They can also be
made in ovel shape by pulling the
rolled diskettes from opposite sides.
