PULAO HARYALI

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup rice
1 onion (chopped)
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp salt
1 cup spinach (chopped)
1 tbsp oil
1 cup water

For garnishing:

1 tbsp coriander leaves

METHOD:

Lightly fry onion and jeera in oil. Keep aside. Boil spinach and grind well. Keep aside.

Add soaked rice to fried onion with 1 cup of water and cook till the water dries up. The rice should be only half cooked.

Now add 1 cup of ground spinach paste and cook the remaining rice in it. Serve hot after sprinkling coriander leaves.
