KULLA


INGREDIENTS:

7-8 Medium size potatoes
1 cup boiled green peas/or gram
3-4 lemons
Red Chili paste
Black pepper
Black Salt
Salt
Kedara Kala Masala(if possible)
few fresh anardaana grains(optional)
Finely cut ginger in thin long stripes

METHOD

Peel the boiled potatoes (if u can have baked potatoes nothing like it) cut into two equal halves lengthwise.

Scope out the center of the half piece by piercing with knife in such manner that you scope out the middle portion as triangle. Ensure that rest of the body does not break

Sprinkle salt, black salt, kedara masala, red chilli, buna jeera powder as per your taste into the hollow of the scopped potato. Fill it up with green boiled peas. Again sprinkle little salt and black pepper. Squeeze lemon on it. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and ginger cut into thin fine stripes. Garnish it with dakkan (Scooped out middle piece) and serve. You can also make Kullas of Banana by peeling, cutting it into half and in similar fashion scooped out the dakkan then fill and serves.
